My project is for high school history (10th-12th grade) and I want my students to learn how to identify specific ideas of the Renaissance, and know how to identify the art and philosphies of the time. The handout has them identify where certain works of art were made according to the details within the paintings, along with filling in the blanks of sentences that have to do with the Renaissance. Students will put their experiences with visits to different countries into an Excel spreadsheet. The Inspiration Content Map shows them the main points and ideas of the Renaissance that will go along with the lecture I would give in class.
Our project is for a 12th grade career interest class. We are teaching our students to make a quiz from the data we collected. The handout has a link the students would take or copy down to make their own quiz. There are steps on how to do it as well. The data sheet is an example of what the students will be using to get data of teachers salaries. The content map is more in depth on the teachers salaries pros and cons. ButlerDavisProductivityToolsProject My project is intended for the 5th grade level. My objective is for students to be be able to collect data while using decimals and identify the mean, median, and mode of their set. The handout first has them learn definitions through the use of an interactive crossword puzzle. Second, the students will log their data onto the handout during the activity. Students will then log their data into an Excel spreadsheet. the inspiration content map helps them understand the terms by using them in several different ways.
I’d say the grades this lesson could cater to would be a middle school english class, or maybe a remedial high school freshman english class. The worksheet is designed to address just a couple errors in grammar commonly encountered by high school underclassmen. The spreadsheet shows the students how his or her answers stack up to the answers of his or her classmates, as well as revealing how many errors the student typically found in each sentence, and whether or not that number is high, low, or in between. The concept map simple provides a visual for some elements in grammar usage.SpencerProductivityToolsProject
